This is the season for pears, and I have for you a wonderful dessert recipe, poached pears in green tea with crunchy caramelized almonds flakes. and of course as my usual super easy to achieve. yum yum

Ingredients (2 people):

  • 2 Ripe pears Beautiful
  • 1 Lemon
  • 200 g sugar
  • 1 liter of water
  • Sliced almonds
  • 1 tablespoon or a green tea bag

Method:

  • Peel pears
  • Rub with lemon so it does not blacken
  • Put the water, lemon juice and sugar in a pan and bring to boil
  • Remove from the heat and put the tea
  • Let steep 5 minutes
  • Filter tea with a Chinese
  • Return to the heat, add the diced pears
  • Cook until pears are soft (when pique pears with a knife, should slide last pears)
  • Remove the cooked pears syrup
  • Make gild the almonds tapered on a pan book
  • On the stove, add 2 tablespoons of sugar and slightly wet with water, let caramelize
  • Arrange pears on your dish, add the almonds and finish with the caramel threads.
  • To be served warm or cold
